Blue Bullet INTRODUCTION
Regional Passport Office Guwahati started functioning from June 1979. It caters to six North Eastern States of India viz Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Nagaland. The office is located at Basistha Road, Rani Bagan, 3rd Bye Lane, Guwahati 781 028.

10.00 AM to 01.30 PM For submission of application forms, sale of forms, on-line registration, enquiry, appointment of Passport Officer / Public Relation Officer etc.

While meeting to Passport Officer OR Public Relation Officer, please bring the relevent documents e.g. Annexure-F, Annexure-I, in case of Tatkal Scheme and stay proof, birth certificate, 10th / 12th certificate etc. etc. in case of any other objection.

One can register on-line (and go directly for submission without having to wait long in the queue on the given date) OR can submit the application form at Passport Office Guwahati. District / State Passport Cells are also being opened at select cities / towns for submission of applications.

Blue Bullet DELIVERY OF PASSPORT
Passport are delivered by SPEED POST and in case of counter delivery (promised by Passport Officer) the Passport will be delivered to the applicant only. Delivery of Passport will be not be given on an authority letter.
